We have 4 secure paddocks, the site has gates galore! Our main gate is always shut and locked, all customers do not access site (only drop off at the door) and fencing is 7ft high.

-
Can i have a look around?
-
No Sorry, due to having dogs on site all the time including my own, for the safety of the other dogs and our customers and the fact this is my home we do not do a tour. We try and put a mixture of photos on our website, instagram and facebook for you to see the dogs and the site.

What does my dog need to bring?
-
All dogs must have collars, ID tag, in date vaccinations INCLUDING KENNEL COUGH, if they eat lunch this food to be provided.
-
-
My dog doesn't like other dogs can they come to day-care?
-
No sorry, all dogs MUST get on. If your dog is aggressive with others we are unable to help, if dogs are just needing some socialisation and 'doggy skills' then we can help.

-
Will my dog have time to rest during day-care?
-
Yes of course, part of our licence requirements all dogs can play outside, play inside, sit/sleep on 1 of many sofas or if they are crate trained and need to be separated to rest (maybe young or too nosey) we can accommodate all eventualities, including older dogs who need to rest more or who like some quiet time we have lots of options.
-
- Does my dog need Kennel Cough to board?
- Yes they do, all in-date vaccinations including Kennel Cough. Evidence of all vaccinations must be up loaded to the online booking system.
- Where will my dog sleep?
- Where they sleep at home they can sleep here. We have lots of dog beds, crates, sofas and human beds to accommodate. If more than one dog in the same family stay we will follow your instructions to whether they sleep together etc
- Do I need to provide my dogs food?
- Yes. We are only authorised under the licenced rules to feed your dogs what you provide. Clear instructions to what they eat, when and quantities to be provided by the owner and enough food for their stay. If owners have gone abroad its sometimes worth providing more than they need incase of any issues with travel and longer stays required.
- Does my dog need a trial beforehand if they have never been to Woof n Tales?
- Yes. 1st stage is a trial day-care, (drop off 8-9am and collection between 3:30) then if that has gone well they will be booked in for a trial overnight. If they pass both you will be able to book as and when required.
- Do you take in season bitches?
- No. If bitches have stopped bleeding they are then in catchment and at their most vulnerable. we would require at least 3-4 weeks after the bleeding has stopped. Please refer to our T&Cs.
- Whats the drop off and pickup times?
- Drop off 4-6pm and collection weekdays are 8-9am, weekends 10-11am.
- Is there a minimum stay at weekends?
- Yes. Friday-Sunday (obviously longer if needed)
- Do you stay in contact when we drop the dogs off?
- Absolutely! you will be sent videos/photos throughout their stay.
- Will my dog go off site for walks?
- This will depend on the trustworthy nature of their recall. If they cannot be trusted off lead, they pull like a train or they have lead aggression it maybe decided that for better enrichment, safety and enjoyment they would be better off lead and freedom on our 1.5 acre site.
- Do you take intact males?
- These are taken on a case by case basis. It will depend on whether they scent mark in the house. Owners wouldn't know this until being in this environment around other dogs (hence the trial)
- Do overnight boarders mix with day-care dogs?
- Yes, this is great for enrichment, social skills and play.
- Can I secure my holiday dates?
- Yes. We request 25% deposit to secure all bookings. Outstanding balance will be due 4 weeks before boarding. Please refer to our T&Cs.
